# API overview

# WazobiaMail API

Use the **API Reference** tab in the navigation to browse endpoints and try authenticated requests with your own account credentials.

The base URL is `https://app.wazobiamail.com/api/v1`. Every operation takes your API key as `X-API-Key`. Sign-in endpoints use the login session instead. Read [Authentication](/docs/guides/authentication) before connecting a service. Prefer an interactive console? Open the [Scalar API reference](https://wazobiamail.com/api-reference/).
